New 88mm MAF Housing Available... (82mm to 90mm)
This is my new 88mm MAF Housing, what a beauty! made by Buenh Enginnering.
For those interested in semi-customized MAF Housing (82 to 90mm size available), for either Bosch ot Hitachi MAF Sensor. Made out of a solid CNC Aluminium block.

It's basically what you need if you change your Injectors for bigger HP application.
This 88MAF supports approximately up to 650hp with a Bosch Sensor. You basically match a MAF Housing size with the Injectors, in my case Ford Lightning Greentops 42#. The combo of both gives you the possibility to keep your current software programming (GIAC ECU) and raise the performance bar.
Customized chip are always a better solution but obviously cost more or simply not available.
Answer to your question : No, the sensor won't last longer... However, rebuilt Bosch sensor are sold for around $50 at the steelership and are under a 7-yr warranty program. Hitachi are way more reliable but Bosch are better designed for high-HP setup and scalling (the sensor is more precise, thus less throttle hickups and smoother delivery on high-hp cars.)

Yes
K04 software exists coming from AWE/GIAC, APR, MTM and in beta version REVO.
However, plain jane K03 GIAC XR software on Octane 91/94 runs perfect with K04 ; just need to adjust the fueling, with this MAF and injectors.
K16 and K24 can also use both.

as you might know, I have a shop manufacter brake brackets
if I could get ahold of your maf housing for a few days, I could get an estimate on cost of making one of those, see if it'd be worth it (group buy afterwards, etc.). is that $250 US?
