Default Oh hell no....

<i>"It's conceivable in the U.S. we may dispense with manuals [and leaving the manual for the S and RS only]," Johan de Nysschen, executive vice president of Audi of America Inc., says.</i>

I say, contact Audi of America/Canada to voice your concerns over this.

If Audi do rid of their manual for the B8 A4, I may seriously never get another new A4. Getting even a new S isn't even a good financial move on my part.

And anybody who wishes to voice their feedback to Audi of Canada when they consider future options, click <a href="http://www.audicanada.ca/audi/ca/en2/Company/Contact_Us.html">here</a>.<ul><li><a href="http://wardsauto.com/ar/audi_clutch_goodbye/">http://wardsauto.com/ar/audi_clutch_goodbye/</a</li></ul>

Default Depressing isn't it, we may have the last of a dying breed...

Does that make our cars worth more as they are now limited edition and collectible ;-)

I'm not buying an Audi w/o a manual.

Default Agreed

If the future B8 A4 does not come with a manual, sorry, I'll have to draw the line on that. Not sure what I'll do next but to me, driving a stick shift has been something I've done since day one and driving an automatic is less involving and "rewarding" in the end.

At any rate, I sent them my feedback on my reaction to Johan de Nysschen comments, and you should too. And getting into an S isn't a financially smart move for me!

I say lower the price of a S4 to the A4 range and then it will be ok.
