How do i check the status of my car other than asking my dealer?

Don't think you can; can't see Audi allowing public access into their manufacturing systems. What's the issue with asking your dealer for updates? When I bought mine, I spoke with my sales person about every 3-4 weeks. There are some key milestone dates in the ordering/build process. Ask your rep about those and keep in touch with him/her.

I'm pretty sure you can't check by yourself.

Just call in every once in a while to make sure everything is on track.

You can't, you should ask your salesperson to check on it. He can check on the status a weekly basis, I do that for my customers.

Some of 2011 models are arriving in July, but the bulk is coming in August.
