With the Mod you can have two ...
Looks a lot better than just one IMHO. Plus, in the rain/snow, will let people see you a lot better. Last but not least, when a guy is tailgating you, just turn them on and the guy will think you are braking, but you keep going forward 
This mod costs about 2$ (bulb) and takes 15 mins to do.

geez dude, having only one is the whole point ;)
When my friends and I caravan somewhere, I always lead with the one-light fog light, so they can see me from far (especially at night)

Who cares about those people anyway ;)
The point being that it does what it's supposed to do.
You know what you should really do before a rear-fog-light mod, is buy my oem 16" wheels. that'll get rid of the people passing saying "look, the Audi with the cheap 15" wheels"
