Default For those interested here is a brief pictorial with some explanations on the Second Intercooler ...

Mod for the B6 A4 1.8T. All parts are OEM from the 190Hp version of this car available only in Europe. Everything is a direct bolt on with no modifications required.

First remove both inner fender wheel wells (plastic liners) on each side. On the left side of the car you will see the W/W reservoir.

Remove the three screws on both sides. This is done to remove the entire front bumper cover assembly.

Remove both black plastic grills around the fog lights. Unscrew on both sides a small black screw, see top left. Not shown but on the opposite side (top right) of the black screw is a larger screw, one on each side that also as to be removed. Before pulling off the bumper cover you will have to disconnect the hoses for the headlight washers (quick release) and the electrical plug for the horns and fog lights, also a quick release. These are located near the W/W reservoir.

I/C installed different view. Notice the hole in the top right portion of the rubber shroud. This is the hole where the water mister jet will be located. This year I will try to add a second jet per I/C to augment the cooling.

After the installation is completed just re-assemble the front bumper cover in place and secure it, then re-connect the electricity to the horns and fogs. Don't forget the head light washer system too.

Default You would have to call GreedSpeed in California to get the latest price if the kit is still...

Available. Originally it was $650.00 US.
