Since no one is providing ideas... I'm thinking I'm just going to settle on time and place.
I'm leaning toward Sycamore Canyon Park in Diamond Bar CA, located on Golden Springs Drive. This has a great kids play area in case people want to make it a family trip. There is BBQ grilles as well.
How does that sound? Day, JULY 16, Saturday.
Time frame 11:00am to 2:00 PM. Yes there is shaded areas.
How does that work for all interested?

Checking in 2-weeks before meet.
So far have three confirmed parties interested.
Thank you to Andrewoc, Rault18, and Lawnmore for your RSVP.
Vagcom will only be available to you guys for confirming attendance.
Anybody else needing vagcom help needs to PM me their name and cell phone to confirm attendance.
All others are welcome to show up and say hello and join-in on whatever BBQ we setup that day, and enjoy a family day at a park. I'll be happy to share whatever is on the grille to all regardless of RSVP.
However, if you don't RSVP (PM me your contact info) by previous day of Friday 7/15, I will not provide any vagcom help. VagCom help is only reserved for those that respect my time and effort to coordinate a meet.
Just like during last meet, contact info is kept private and discarded after meet. Only used to confirm meet or text you if there's a last minute problem.
