Audi a6 c5 valve cover gasket leak/O2 sensor
I'm stuck. I've been having a leaking valve cover gasket for about 4 months now. I just recently found out that a bad o2 sensor can cause catalytic converter problems. I think my o2 sensor is the cause of my engine surge (car seems to stay a one gear til I hit 40mph sometimes 60). I'm kind of tight on money right now and plan on having one if these jobs done next week, my question is which is the more urgent repair? The valve cover gasket replacement or the oxygen sensor?
