Help please...deciding between 2007 A4 vs. 2007 A6 with different mileage
I'm looking at used Audi A4 and A6 models. In particular, there is a 2007 A4 with 50k miles at a price of $9K with a clean history that I have seen. I have also seen a 2007 A6 with 107k miles (clean history), in a similar price range of $9-10K.
I know the A6 is larger and has a bigger engine, but beyond that the reliability ratings (i.e. Consumer Reports) are much better for the A6 vs. the A4, so I am leaning towards the A6...
That said, I'm wondering how much to value the mileage. At roughly the same price is the A6 a better value even with almost double the mileage to the A4? At about the same price, which seems like a safer buy...the A4 with 50k miles or the A6 with 107k miles.
Help is appreciated!

As with any used car purchase, the general condition of the car, as well as the car's maintenance history is the most critical thing. Lower miles doesn't always mean the car was well cared for.
