I'm not sure, but I think tech is trying to fix the problem and that may be changing the way things work on the fly.. I'm hoping to have a good update this afternoon.. Tech is in CA..

I logged out and cleared cookies, etc and when I logged back in it appeared to be working normally. Seems to happen late in the afternoon when I see it.

It also seems sporadic to me.. I wish I could fix this myself..

When displaying messages in either hybrid or threaded mode some of the messages are not visible - they do not show up and I get an error.
When displaying in linear mode - seems to be OK.

The problem is specific to Threaded and Hybrid modes.. Please try Linear till we have this fixed, which will hopefully be soon...

I use linear mode and the order is still random. Didn't get any better since the first post.
