Old Picture Poster Accounts
Kris: I would like again to thank the vBulletin rocket surgeons for their diligence in gutting many many DIY posts with their arbitrary changes to picture post account numbers losing many many photo links and, thereby, efficiently gutting DIY posts that many rely on.

Hi Dave,
If it makes you feel any better, I "thank" them every time I see a DIY post with missing images that used to live in the PP... The images are all still on our system, but the links all changed. really unfortunate.
One ray of hope, with the upgrade to the latest gallery plugin, apparently there *may* be a way to fix it, I'm not holding my breath, but hope is hope.

That's an entirely different problem related to externally hosted photos. Yet another chance for the tech team to come up with a brilliant solution to a problem that never should have existed.. stay tuned.

Hello Kris,
I was confused by the "externally hosted" comment, as I thought I have always uploaded from my computer, but I now see that I uploaded those blower motor pictures from image shack, which is odd to me as I do not recall ever have a image shack account, but I have one, what's also odd is the blower motor pics are the only ones in the image shack.....
Damn I am forgetting things already......
