Will S4 pass with vacuum leak
I have a 2000 Audi S4 and there is no check engine light, but replaced all pumps but when still have a code coming up as a vacuum leak. Will my S4 pass smog if i take her in or should i wait till that code is cleared?

Depends on where you live. I live in NJ and I think as long as there's no light you're OK>
Why not fix the leak. The only time I had a vacuum leak code was when the o-ring on the gas filler cap was twisted and simple fix. I have had other vacuum leaks with no code, so I would suspect the fuel evap system and trouble shoot there first.

Light just isnt on yet because it needs to see 2-3 full drive cycles before it turns it on. When you bring it to the emission place is will not have passed all its readiness checks and you wont pass, I just realized this was a fairly old post so If this helps somebody cool.
