Default Audi North Orlando Review

Just wanted to share my on going experience with shopping for a 2015 Audi A4 and share my most recent interaction with Audi North Orlando. I contacted the dealer via email and Audi specialist, Slav responded. I asked for an OTD price on a 2015 A4 with specific options that I clearly stated in my correspondence with Slav. He quoted me a few differnt numbers so I again stated I wanted one OTD price for the vehicle I described. He complied and to avoid any confusion and to verify price I asked for a Manager to verify the price. Jessie the manager emailed me and verified the price. The next day I get an email saying, sorry... Slav made a mistake and quoted me the wrong price. The adjusted price was nearly $3,000 more than the highest quote. Jessie also went on to say it was below invoice, etc, etc...

All along I have been upfront and clear with my vehicle request and options selected. They somehow got confused with their pricing quotes. (No doubt due to the pricing games and dishonestly they use as part of their sales tactics.) I asked to speak to the GM and Shaun responded. He emailed me some generic response that Slav and Jessie quoted me the wrong price and were unclear and unaware of how the A4 was optioned. Again, I specified in each email exactly what I wanted.

I specified an A4, 6-spd, Premium Plus in Glacier White. The options portion isn't really that hard... (It's 4 little check marks including; Technology Package, Sport, Sport Plus Package and Bang and Olufsen.) Shaun stated they were honest people and they should have done this and that to avoid the issues. How can a senior sales associate AND a Sales Manager both quote the wrong price and then play it off? They do this EVERY day and if it was an honest mistake how come they don't know the product they sell? I don't buy it! This was all planned to get me into the dealer so they could string me along and try their sales tactics on me to get a sale. Luckily, I was persistent in getting a confirmed price quote via emal before agreeing to visit the dealer. I was coming back in town so they realized I wasn't going to be happy if they jerked me around in person. Shaun quoted me another price that was considerably higher than their "mistake" (other dealers offered me close to the same deal so nothing special). His explanation with the options being configured incorrectly just didn't add up. The car can only be built with certain options according to Audi's website and default to include bundled packages so the price increase is automatic. I can see where a mistake may be made and would be open to an adjusted price and a sign of good faith, but their attitude shouldn't be so flippant and dismissive. They are still making money on the car even with their price mistake. The lack of product training and or questionable sales tactics and poor follow-up is at best a rookie mistake and excusable for 1 person. But 2 people making the mistake and then passing blame on the fact that they were in a hurry and didn't fully read the communication is a rookie mistake at best. At the very least it should be saved for a non premium brand dealer or "Bob's used car world."

Anyone in The Orlando area stay away from Audi North Orlando. Slav, Jessie and Shaun all clearly fit the typical car salesman stereotype with a low moral code and blurred ethics. This is easily one of the worst car buying experiences I've ever had. The Classic/Holler Automotive group has lost a former customer and sadly don't seem to care.

Very similar to my resulting very brief experience with them. I asked for the same otd pricing via email on a Q5. Was quoted some ridiculous number that was more than $3000 higher than the list including ++. When questioned, it was I'm sorry my manager included interest... Interest?... At no point had we discussed financing. Where in the world would they get a rate or interest charges... I expected better from Audi. Needless to say I purchased my gorgeous Q5 elsewhere. Avoid Audi North Orlando with all haste!

When it came to replace my RS4 I decided I wanted an S3. Slav let me play with one they had but it was not what I wanted. So he configured the one I wanted from the factory, got a price and told me the discount right up front. He was very clear about the pricing. Then they bumped me up the list, so a planned four month delivery cycle only took two. I took the RS4 in for them to value and Rigo, the sales manager, gave me a straight description of everything and they offered me a price that was reasonable enough that I sold them the car on the spot. They threw me the keys to a loaner until my car made it from the boat to the dealership. When I took delivery everything was as promised and they took the time to go through everything so I understood. I even got a bunch of additional Audi incentives thrown in which further reduced my cost. Yes they tried to sell me all the 'extras' but they never pushed them, and I declined almost all of them without any drama. I rode away in my new S3 and couldn't be happier.
Note I have been buying Audis since this dealership was on South OBT - a long time. I have never had a bad experience and this time, working with Slav, Rigo and the rest of the crew, was as good as any.

I ordered my '13 S5 from them before they moved to Sanford. They were great; I was dealing directly with the General Manager (Sunil) and the head tech (Hadley). Both are awesome guys to work with, and took care of my order via email since I am in Gainesville). But, 2 years later, both Sunil and Hadley are at South Orlando, and I don't know anyone at North any longer, so I really can't comment on them. I always follow the people I like/trust, so I will probably stick with Audi South since my guys moved over there.

I wondered where Hadley had gone - he has been fixing my Audis since he was in diapers.
I guess I am going to have to look him up

My expereince with the Sandford dealership was one of the worst I've ever had. Gald this wasn't my first rodeo so I didn't waste my time physically going to the dealership. Bunch of clowns as far as I'm concered! Sunil was actually great. Really proffesional and wants to work for your business. Unfortuately, his Sales Manger, Bob Forgea is nothing less than a real jackass.

Ended up purchasing from Audi/Porsche of Melboune. Very proffesional and great follow up! Tony Powers has been fantastic!

Default 2016 S7

Ordered a S7 from Thomas Rank at North Orlando Audi Jan 27. They gave more
for my 2014 trade in, than other dealers. Made the deal, order my 2016 S7 and traded in my car that day. They gave me a discount
which was a better deal than others, ordering a 2016 S7. After joining Audi World I realized others on the forum joined ACNA and received a 6% discount.
After already have made the deal with all paper work done I hated to ask for additional discount, but I did. Talked to Jesse the Sales Manager and he said join ACNA and no problem. My new car came in this week, they did a PDI service and cleaning, I paid the new discounted amount with no problems and
drove my new car home. Love my new S7, and the guys at North Orlando where great. I also got Audi Care thrown in.

I know Thomas and I also have a membership with ACNA. Just trying to figure if you got more than 6% discount. I have a one year membership for now but it's only been 3 months. Don't know if Jessie will give me the full discount or if I gave to wait 6 months before discount.

I got 6% plus they were giving Audi Care at that time. I joined the lifetime membership to get the discount. From what I've learned from Audi World is ACNA gives the dealer 2%. You should just talk to Thomas and see what they will do. I ordered mine back in Jan. so they might give a better disount now, I don't know. Good Luck, I love my new car.
