May take delivery of my very first boat this weekend...

Well, actually second since I've already had a canoe.
This should be perfect for prowling the docks along the Indian and Banana rivers for reds and snook. I found an 08 demo with a new drive system for half of new retail. If it's not beat to death, it will be mine!

It's called "Mirage". It's a pedal type system that mimicks a penguin flipper.
I thought it was hokey until I tried one- it moves very well with little effort. Plus you have your hands free for fishing etc.
Hobie has some videos of it in action on their website. One shows a single peddling kayak towing a paddling tandem team backwards.
