Default 4.2 Litre V8 Supercharged - Dare I ask anyone getting close?

Fancy the supercharger on my A8 2003 model and awaiting to hear from PES Tuning though this has been due a while has it not?

Anyone else out there developing one and any rough prices? To the nearest $1000 USD??

Willing to test within a RHD enviroment in the UK.

Default I started building a kit for my 4.2 back in September, but then I lost my job.

I just found a new job, so I should be able to start working on it again. BTW, VAST also built one for their A6 4.2 w/S8 engine & 6-speed trans. They posted some videos on our forum a few months ago. Not sure when they will be selling it though..

Default Shouldnt be hard to hand a centrifugal SC on, then IC's and everything should be easy

There are many places "hi perf. " that can do a kit, then find someone to do SW. Stay under 8lbs or so and install WI and you should be golden. I'll bet a Mustang kit would hook up with a very little work.

Default I'm using an Eaton M90. Not the most efficient unit, but it will get the job done.

I plan on running 7psi (intercooled.) If I was going after high-end boost, then a centrifugal unit would be great. I'm looking for more low end grunt though. The 4.2 is great once you're moving. It's getting off the line that takes a while..
