Default If I unplug my cable box/dvr to move it downstairs, will I lose what is already recorded?

Default On my comcast, everything stays (programs to record and recorded stuff).

Only had it unplugged long enough to move it downstairs and set it up again. But I doubt that has anything to do with it (meaning it probably wouldn't matter how long it was unplugged).
