Default I learned a valuable lesson this past weekend, after taking care of Rob's dog

It's that I am not a dog person. The whole take them out to pee/poop/walk, wake up early, yada yada...too much maintenance. Cats are easy. Just feed 'em and you're done.

Murphy's a great dog and he did nothing wrong. But caring for a dog is a big responsibility.

LoL! picturing Murph climbing up on your bed to wake you at 9AM... "I really gotta pee!"

Default 9AM? 9AM???? Try 6AM! And he was already sleeping on my bed, between my legs

He started with 1/4 barks to try and wake me up. After ignoring him for a while, he escalated to a full bark but at a reduced volume/intensity. I heeded that warning. I think he was all out of sorts after coming back in when I went straight back upstairs and went back to sleep. The 1/4 barks started again at 830, but I think those were out of boredom, not out of any biological reasons.

Default Haha! yeah, it'a amazing how such small animal can take up so much realestate on the bed!

I used to doggie-sit for my friends all the time back in MD.

Default Anytime man. I'll dog-sit whenever

But he better not freak me out like that and not eat!

Default Surprisingly, Murphy took up a lot less space than my old cat

My old cat used to stretch out as long as he could across the bed. If I dared move him, he would grunt at me.
