Tint Shops?
Can anyone recommend a reputable tint shop? Been reading that Audi's have an issue if the tint shop uses too much water that it may damage some audio equipment. MD/VA area please. Thanks!

California Tint in Tyson's Corner. They tint for Audi of Tysons. David is the sole owner and he is very good, however he will not do illegal tints, so you are stuck with max 50% front and 35% back.

I just went to TNT Tint in Alexandria the other day. One guy runs the whole thing, subcontracts a bay from a BMW shop.
It's expensive but he's a perfectionist. He booked me for 3hrs, longer than normal since he says Audis are difficult, ended up taking about 5 hours. He definitely doesn't rush it and takes his time.
If you go there, tell him the guy with the gray A6 sent you.

Thanks for the info. So I did a search for tinting (on another Audi board) and came up with a bunch of companies. The threads were semi old (2010 or older) and it seems that some of the recommended shops have shut down. I called them all and got pricing and was just trying to get some updated opinions on the shops.
VIP Tint: cant get any contact info, shut down?
LA Tint: $369 (ceramic)
Ziebart: $229 (non-ceramic)
Winners (MD): $269 (ceramic)
Driven Dynamics (MD): $219 (ceramic)
Roadblock: shut down?
TNT Tint: $350 (non-ceramic)
If anyone has any experiences with these places please let me know.
Thanks!

Matt at TNT Tint is great, had a few done by him and know him personally. As someone else said, he won't be the cheapest guy but he will take his time and make sure it's done right.
