I have the bazzaz with TC and quickshifter on my GSXR 600 race bike. I really like it.

Default Doesn't have anything to do with racing. Replacement for spending money on..

a PCIII plus dyno tune. A dyno tunes for the conditions on that specific day. In basic terms these systems account for any changes or modifications to the bike and enviromental changes. Why wouldn't someone want their bike to run at it's optimium state.

PV5 also cuts down on the added expense required with the PCIII for additional add-ons to the unit which may require a hub.

The technology is finally being mass produced for the public at an "affordable" price and the days of the PCIII will soon be behind us.

Default Hm, from that standpoint i totally understand. But, and i know i may be eating my own words here,

doesnt the factory design our machines with enough tolerances to be driven on a daily basis...weather changes included? Aside from, of course, minor tunes and adjustments based on the general climate...and altitude of where you live.

To me, still, the need to shift without letting off the throttle or using the clutch and squeezing every drop of efficiency out of the bike seems more at home on the track. I barely have time on the street to use the 100 horses im sitting on now! It hardly seems geared towards the touring fuel saver.

Still...awesome device...and ill thrown one on the Ducati Sport Classic 1000 i have on my dream list. =D
