Boston Indy Audi Service
Looking for a reputable shop specializing in Audi or German vehicles, uses OEM parts, reasonable rates, honest guys and within 50ish miles of Boston (willing to go farther if you have a hot spot). Need some work on an oil leak for my 2005 Allroad 4.2, have visited Rayteam in Waltham... still not sure if I should pull the trigger on his quote. Frank from Rayteam seems extremely nice and very knowledgeable but he quoted me 7-9 hours for an Oil pan gasket replacement and clean up just to drive it and see if the oil is coming from anywhere else. I don't have time to look at it and I'm worried that he will either do it in 3 hours and charge me 9, or just throw me through a un unnecessary $1000 step just to have more issues and charges after that. I'm gotten all my old vehicle looked at by one of my fathers close friends so my experience in the way of normal dealings with mechanic is lacking.

7-9 hours seems excessive. I posted this recently and got some suggestions. I wouldn't use anyone that didn't specialize in Audis. Nice doesn't always mean honest.
