Hello,

I am new to Audi's, just picked up a very cheap 2000 A6 Quattro to be a daily driver. It needs some work...

The biggest issue is that is has zero exhaust after the manifolds. So I will either need to get new cats/front pipes, mid pipe, and tail section or straight pipe the whole thing. I was wondering if anyone has a can tool because I may go this route although it is expensive if it means my car would pass inspection (ie no other serious issues). If there are other issues, I would probably just go with the straight pipes as they are way cheaper. So if someone in the RI area has a euro scan tool I would be much appreciative and could throw some money your way. Or if you know the most cost efficient way to get an exhaust let me know (I've been shopping around and each side is around like at least $400). On the other hand, if anyone knows what is required to pass inspection in RI feel free to PM me.
