Hi. I recently purchased this S4 from a dealer in Milwaukee. The previous owner upgraded the ECU to a stage II APR with pulleys, as well as upgraded the suspension with a Bilstein PSS 10 and the shifter with a Meisterwerk adjustable short throw shifter.

I found the listing on the dealer web site pretty much the day it they listed it on their site, before pricing it. They originally planned on selling as a CPO, but I learned from this forum the problem with ECU mods and the TD1 flag. I mentioned this to the dealer and they realized that the flag was set and they could not sell it as CPO. I asked the dealer if I could contact the prior owner (who traded it in for an S6 with dual clutch trans because his wife did not like the stick) and the prior owner contacted me, so I got to speak with him. He seemed like a knowledgable, responsible guy who knew what he was doing, and since the car only had 26k miles on it, I bought it. Saved some money also since it's not CPO.

I love it. I think the ECU uses the stock software when the car is in "Comfort" mode, and the APR upgrade when the car is in the "Dynamic" setting. You can really tell the difference between the two settings. I use the "comfort" when my wife is in the car. Otherwise I use "dynamic."

I have not figured out who to adjust the suspension or the shifter, but eventually will play with that. All in all I really love it. For me, it seems like the perfect car.
