Emergency!!! 2001 Audi Windshield
My windshield on a 2001 A8L is cracked. My glass company has the OEM windshield replacement however they cannot find the 3 sided molding (4D0853299F01C)..According to the Glass company and confirmed by me through various dealership and Audi USA. Audi does not provide it any longer.
This is befuddling, Audi still provides the glass for the windshields but doesn't have the components for them to be install.
Does anyone know a source for the part, a solution or just a good work around?
This car only has 140K and is in fantastic shape. Don't want buy a new car because the windshield can't be replaced
