Hello AudiWorld,


I am GZ. I am the proud owner of a 1996 (B5) Audi A4 Quattro and previously a 1995 (B4) Audi 90 Quattro Sport.


My B5 is currently motor-less. Short block and heads are at the machinists getting cleaned up and brought back to spec. Just recently pulled the motor to perform a few repairs and decided to give her an overhaul.


I have been a die-hard Volkswagen fan since before I started driving. My first car was a 1972 VW Super (followed by a '71 Super, then a '56 Std).


My first foray into the Audi world was with my 95 90QS. I immediately fell in love with the car. She was taken away from me prematurely in 2005 when a fellow in a full size conversion van decided to make a quick left into my lane of traffic (within feet of me doing the speed limit of 40 mph) and we hit head-on.


I went until late 2011 until I finally broke down and bought my B5 A4. I wasn't a fan of the B5 body style at first (preferred the mid 90's B4) but it has grown on me and I now prefer the B5 styling to all previous and subsequent A4s.


I have lurked in this forum on and off for a couple years now and finally decided to register and become a member to share in what I have learned and learn new things. To meet new people who share my love for Audi/VW and to share my feats and fails when it comes to my B5.
