Hey from Chicago!
Long time Audi admirer, and recent first-time Audi owner. Due to a sudden and catastrophic failure of my SUV's transmission, I took the opportunity to pick up a 2004 A6 Avant 3.0 over the weekend.
It didn't come with an owners manual (among a couple other minor things, I'm finding out), so I've spent the last few days trying driving it, getting familiar with it - and loving it.
As a newbie, I'm hoping to get off to a good start and learn about the proper care and feeding of my new Audi - like where to source good used parts, upkeep & maintenance tips, mechanic/tech recommendations, and maybe even get some direction on some possible performance mods down the road.
