This is my first post on this forum and I had a question about a certain b5 a4 that i might purchase. I'm preparing to RWD convert a b5 and I'm looking for a super cheap candidate for the project. I found one for 500 dollars on Craigslist and the guy said it cranks but doesn't start unless starting fluid is fed into the intake. I'm thinking it might be a fuel pump but I don't know anything about these cars. Any help is appreciated! Thank you in advance.

You will want to shoot yourself rather than work on an Audi 1.8 or 2.0T
