hi all;
newbie obviously; I am signing up to get info specifically on the audi 4.2 v8 and hopefully on how to make a non-turbo'd one into a turbo'd version. I have just rec'd a 4.2 40V with ecm and most peripheral items and am - right now - looking at it to see if it will fit into my project car: a longitudinal install with an 01E trans behind it.
So I'll be looking for places/info on how strong this engine is; if I should re-cam it; where to get my stock ecm reprogrammed etc.
Any and all input very welcome and I look forward to my new and latest learning adventure!
