Just another Q5 TDI owner.
Hi everybody
My advise - do not enter car dealerships, ever (unless you are planing to buy a car . Every time we (my wife and myself) visit this kind of places, just to look what is available on the market, w/o ANY intention to buy a new car, we always ending up with one, unplanned and unexpected
(just in case, we do not visit Korean/Japanese dlshps, regardless of ... whatever. To put it as politely as I can - those cars are not designed to enjoy them).
Ok. Frankly, the idea of having something slightly bigger, in addition to our 2 MINIs (2003-65K & 2006-130K), was floating in the air, but the time-frame for a new car was set to be in 2+ years.
Happened sooner
Q5 TDI is an absolutely fantastic example of engineering genius, except, I would really prefer the steering wheel to be much stiffer, like on MINIs (yes, I know about dynamic mode, it helps, but very little). Also, it is precise, no questions, but too soft to my taste. Again, just IMHO, not really a problem or complain.
