Looking for a recommendation on a year range/model for NA
I have a mkiv jetta v6 thats an automatic but rather than do a tranny swap I'm going to buy a normally aspirated Audi.
To my knowledge Audis don't have the best reputation for reliability, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend an audi year range and model that is the least problematic in your experience.
My only three criteria are that:
a) it's made in Germany, not outsourced.
b) it's an NA, not a turbo
c) it doesn't have the timing chain inside the engine design
I'd like to get it used for around $10k if possible but would go up to $15
