Hi my name is Nelson im 20. Im new to this and Joined because this place looks more helpful and interesting than the owners manual which my car didnt come with :/ .
This is my first own money bought car and it is a 2002 Audi TT quattro 6 speed (225) with 139.000 miles but happy to say its making 270 and feels strong which also to me means being more careful and treating it even more right.
Im really into cars and like doing small work but by no means do i consider myself a mechanic (long way to go). I am hoping to be able to get tips from you guys who know about this type of car since i feel like im the only one with one around where i live .
Im really pumped to hear any advice you guys can give me about what you know about my car and any specific tips about it so i can make the most of it. I dont plan on selling it any time soon and hope to be the last owner this car will have.

This forum used to be so busy, but it seems a ghost town now. Guess there aren't too many of us Mk1 owners left.

Thanks TTami ! Sad to hear this has become a ghost town. Hopefully it can revive itself soon . I saw a roadster before buying this one and was close to buying it but it was a rebuilt title and had more miles.
How long have you had your roadster for and what are the ups and downs for you in it ?
