New B8.5 S4 Owner
Hi all. Soon-to-be newbie Audi owner here in Melbourne, VIC.
Will be picking up my 2013 (MY14) B8.5 Audi S4 from the dealer this Saturday. Was driven very sparingly by an Audi exec. Only has 1,700km on the clock.
Have been driving a 2000 Mercedes-Benz E320 estate for the past 4 years. Great car, but looking forward to something more modern and with a lot more power Will miss the ample boot space though!!
Look forward to seeing you all around the Forum

Audi may or may not help. Where is the HDD situated anyway?

Welcome to the Forum
Great to have you on board. You will love the big low-end grunt from the Supercharged V6. It punches way above it's weight in overall feel. My wife has the 2014 in Estoril Blue with the limited slip Diff and we both love canyon carving on the weekends. I have had two S5's and now an RS5. WHile the RS5 is faster, it is also harder to drive fast as it has lots of hp (450), but relatively little torque (317 lb-ft).
There are some wonderful roads in your country with challenging switchbacks and lot's of wet road - real Audi quattro territory. Be sure to let us know if you came stateside as the Audi Club is very active.
Best wishes
Eric
I have added an older pic with the S4 and the previous S5 up on the Angeles Crest, which is an heroic set of roads (about 150 miles) that include 5000 ft of elevation changes and twists through the adjacent canyons. My wife Erin is in the S5 for the day as we swap often and compare.
