Hello,

I am shopping for pre owned A4. I found good deals as given below.

1. 2015 Audi A4 Certified Premium Plus 18k miles 33k$ Out the door (OTD). This is at Audi dealer.
2. 2016 A4 Premium 6k mikes 30k$ OTD. From tier 2 dealer. Carfax clean and shows all service records done at Audi dealer.

Since the prices are close, would you prefer certified one from dealer with premium plus package OR non certified one, newer year car with lower miles but no premium plus package ?

Premium is pretty bare bones, I would for sure go at least PP+, you get a nicer sound system, maybe S-line, bigger wheels, and other stuff. Not much of a difference between 2015 & 2016. Anything between 2012-2016 the car is pretty much the same, maybe a few more horses as the years go by and a few changes, nothing major and different front LEDs.

Also keep in mind only an Audi dealership can sell an Audi as certified which means warranty. Hope this helps.

The 2017 is a complete redesign.

Tex, welcome aboard! Both cars would still be covered by warranty. Blaze is right - - "Premium" means base model. However, it seems like they slowly added more features to that base model as the years have gone by. Does the 2016 have Xenon headlights, for example?
