Default Not sure where to post this, but....

I guess here is as good as anywhere. I'm looking for instructions on how to sort threads in ascending order (#1, 2, 3, etc.). Currently when I go into a thread, the posts are listed in descending order (#11, 10, 09, 08, etc.). I've looked everywhere but cannot find the instructions for how to sort/view threads in ascending order.

Thanks in advance for your help.

At the bottom left of a main forum page there is a drop down menu to select sort by last post or first post.

Thanks so much for responding, but I must be as blind as a bat. I do not see a drop down menu at the bottom left of a main forum page that allows me to sort posts.

I do not see anything allowing me to reverse the showing of posts. I have looked under "Forum Tools", "Tread Tools", "FAQs", "My Profile", you name it, and I cannot figure out how to have posts in descending order.

I'm sorry for being a pain, but this is really frustrating. I've pretty much given up on this forum because there is nothing more aggravating than having to go to the last page of a thread to find out what the thread is about, then read the posts backward!

Anyway, thanks again for you help. I'll keep looking. I know that at one time the posts were in descending order, I must have done something somewhere to have changed it. I only wish I knew what it was.

Don't you have the display options at the bottom of the forum page? (not within a thread page).

I was curious and went to the main page ( AudiWorld Forums ) and it's not there. I went into one of the sub-listings and found it.

Right, you have to be in a specific forum page that show all the thread titles.

I'm trying to sort the answers/responses to a post in ascending order. When I go in to see the responses, I see the most recent response, not the question/comment that started the whole thread. For example, when I look at my question (post #1), it's at the bottom of the page and then the responses are above it. I want my question to be at the top of the page so I can read the responses as I scroll down the page. I'm beginning to think this layout is unique to this forum, no other forum I frequent is like this. The initial post/question/comment (in other words, #1) is always at the top of the page and the responses follow below it.
