Default Piston/Valve Collision A4 2.8l

Hello All! I'm a new member and hoping to get some good advice. '99 Audi A4 Quattro 2.8l. I've removed the heads after a timing incident and have confirmed all 6 exhaust valves on the passenger side are stuck open. Before I proceed to spend money and start fixing things I want to make sure it will be worth my time and money. Here is my big concern: As I rotate the crankshaft I notice all 3 pistons on the driver side (where no impact occurred) come flush with the top of the block. On the Passenger side they all come about .060 - .090 shy of flush. Do I potentially have bent rods or some other crankcase problem?
