Default Probably answered but the problem is specific.

1999 A4 Avant 1.8 Quattro

Problem Description:

Drove normally all day. Took rotary/traffic circle near home (not sharp but continued radius left). Post rotary front end shimmy and feels like the wheel wants to go right and have to fight the wheel for control-ability.

Leading into problem:

Had the wheel and wheel trim off to replace the ABS Module. Once on Monday reassemble drove around neighborhood (2 circle cul de sacs one in each direction) no issues. Drove 30 miles on Tuesday before mentioned rotary then problem arose. Replacement ABS installed on Wednesday. Tested in neighborhood without issue (and for the first time since purchase no ABS issue). Drove about 20 miles no issue. On return home same rotary problem returned.

Odd to me that it doesn't reoccur on the two circles here but they are slower than the rotary. Thought was wheel issue fixed when I did the second off and on for the repair but then it reoccurred. Also odd that it handled a 2-30 mile round trip like it was fine then suddenly issue with the 3rd to last turn from the house, and I also go through 2 other circles outbound and inbound.

Just happened on back to back days. Looking for thoughts. I am going to pull the wheels and take a look with better light tomorrow but wanted to get some input on possible cause and fix.

Thanks in advance,
Dean
