*sigh*... expensive repairs!
rack and pinion - $1500-2000
cam seals - $375-800
80k service - $300-500
and I need new tires. anyone have a spare Dunlop SP9090 they want to sell? I have 3 with more than 50% tire tread. I'll even buy it if its your spare tire, or trade you with mine. My spare is fine, a 235/45/17 with a Nokian WR.
Really not looking forward to spending $3000+ on repairs right now.
Help!

Give Freddie a call at East County European Autoworks.
He's got great prices.

If it makes you feel any better, when I didn't have a garage, it cost me $1800 to $3000 a year
to keep the Alfa running. It's now old enough to visit a bar on it's own;-)
Find a good shop/tech and build a relationship.
