Who the hell said $700? Plus, it does everything much better than any other smartphone, sorry.

$700 is probably going to be your out of pocket cost to get it activated.

Heh. Bloated, overheating Macbooks and scratched Nano screens ring a bell? ;)
For the record I use a Mac, and I think the iPhone is neat. I just don't think it actually does anything better than much cheaper phones. Yes, it looks neat, but most of the stuff Jobs hyped can be done on my 2 year old Treo.
You seem excited about getting one, so I won't say anything more. Have fun camping out and enjoy the new phone!
