B5S4 guys.
Wife's co-worker is selling a very clean 2001 S4 with 70K. I'm going to take it in to Griffin to get it checked out but he said one of the turbo's may be going bad. What's the going rate in the Bay Area for parts an labor on a K03 swap? I'm guessing it's around $5K. I know Terry can be on the pricy side but he does know what he's doing. Would 034, DSR, or maybe even Stasis be a better solution?
Other than belts, hoses, and clutch is there anything else I should replace or upgrade while it's in there? Thanks for the help.

time for a timing belt if it hasn't been done - $1.3k for a shop
also check suspension (I replaced the front upper/lower control arms and tie rod ends on my S4 between 60 and 75k) You'd be looking at about $500 plus labor on that.
Other things to check would be oil leaks at the valve cover/cam seals, dead pixels in the instrument cluster, and see if the diverter valves have been replaced with the 710n.
Last time I checked with StaSIS they were not doing maintenance work anymore because they were busy with the development of new products. They pointed me to AVS in Berkley.
