Can anyone recommend a nice, cheap, close hotel to Laguna Seca?

Default Do a search of kayak.com for Seaside and Sand City. Avoid Salinas at all costs. Pacific Grove

sometimes has some good bang for buck spots.

Cross check with tripadvisor.com and yelp.com before jumping on something.

Default Monterey Hostle... if u could swing the commune environment

I stay'd there for ALMS. Good experience. Mostly adults. Quiet. and Ppl were respectable (when I was there). something like $25/ night. If u got 2-5 ppl, u can reserve a private room.

search up review on Yelp or Hostle International

Default Holiday Inn Express

in Seaside. Much cheaper than Embassy Suites next door and it's a straight shot down 218/68 to Laguna. There's also a Motel 6 up Hwy in Marina.

Nothing in the Monetrey area is exactly "cheap".

Default I stayed there coupla times, it was fine. on Fremont St. nearby there's also

a Best Western (there might be two actually) that was decent, w/ a restaurant/bar right next door. yes these are much cheaper, not to mention convenient also, compared to staying in Monterey proper.

Default Thanks for the recommendations. I ended up staying at the Clarion for $60/nigth and it was a

fantastic hotel (for the price) in case anyone else is looking for lodging in the area
