Hello from a soon to be NorCal'er and an old time AWer
Hi guys,
some of you may recognize my screen name from the B5 S4 forum (back in the day) or my sparse AWOT posts, but I've been on AW for over 7 years and in that time have been moving progressively westward from my Boston roots. I'll be moving to SF at the end of October, which hopefully means I'll dodge the start of another Chicago winter When time allows, I'm also a bit of a track nut and am dying to get out to Laguna Seca instead of just virtually driving on it in Forza. I look forward to meeting the NorCal crew once I get out there,
Mike

welcome. we're awash in track time opportunities here
There are 4 tracks within 4 hours of SF. Laguna, Sears, Thunderhill, and Buttonwillow.

posted on AWOT, repost here 'tho
the most expensive houses ever sold in San Francisco - a neoclassical villa with a four-story floating staircase and glass atrium, a facade of French limestone and a roof of 19th century Florentine tile is on the market for $65 million.
Despite the price tag, the home is a mere shell - it doesn't have interior walls, floors or ceilings - and will require more than $10 million to complete.
This you? Nice!! 8-)<ul><li><a href="http://www.sfgate.com/flat/archive/2007/09/24/chronicle/archive/2007/09/24/MN8TSAIM4.html">http://www.sfgate.com/flat/archive/2007/09/24/chronicle/archive/2007/09/24/MN8TSAIM4.html</a</li></ul>
