Helmet = Dumb. Headlight = Doing exactly what it's designed to do.

I ride and I'm a firm supporter of good gear. But as much good those headlight modulators do to help others see motorcyclists, I have to agree that they are lame as hell. I drive with my lows and if I'm about to pass someone, I flash my highbeams before I pass just to grab their attention so I don't get taken out.

I guess it's for the attention factor

if you are seen, you are less likely to be hit.

FYI, I have a dual HID headlight setup on my bike. It's bright as fark!

Man, there're so many mods I've researched to do when I muster up the ***** to buy a bike, one of

which is the dual HID simultaneous beams! ;-)
