Just took my first trip on skyline, to 84, to 1, and back home
to Pacifica. What a stretch of 2nd and 3rd gear high rpm runs. Too many bikers, however. It's hard to believe, but some cars passed them on blind curves!. . .bastards.
I had fun keeping up with a crotch-rocket for 10 minutes or so (modest around the turns, but hittin' 90 - 100 on the straight-aways). This was closer to highway 1 on 84 where there is more room to play. Of course, the car stuck like glue. . . and I'm probably still driving it like a librarian.
