Default Looking for camera mounting options for an upcoming Audi sportscar experience in April...
I'm thinking of fabricating an L bracket on my helmut and mount one of those very affordable but light HD sim camcorders.

Has anyone ever filmed them driving the R8? I imagine I won't be allowed to install something off the seats or windshield.

Default I just picked up a Vado HD for $130 - 720p w/ HDMI out (cable included)
and 8GB memory w/ a built in USB cable.

I think the $100 off promo is dead (got it from Amazon), but I'm sure it would do the job nicely.

Default you can borrow my GoPro camera. I've strapped it to the rollbar and sideview mirrors...

Default Yep I have this also, very light and easy to use, great mounting options...
They now have a wide view version also...

Just have well charged batteries and some good memory SD cards for it...

Default GoPro with suction mount on exterior...you can get a different view each run group.
I've ran one on the exterior of a car during race qualifying... not a problem at all.
