Default Got a post card announcing they'll be closing soon and get a great deal on remaining stock...

So, after giving it some careful thought, I made the decision and...

...tossed it in the recycling bin.

Default Drove by today. Doors closed and locked. Audi was removing the last of the "09" inventory"....

to a safer keeping place. Look for a new dealer sometime in the future?

Default they are going to end up here

xposting from Norm's fb

I heard owner was retiring after 30 years, even though the dealership did relatively well after the slump. Unfortunately for the 55 employees that are let go, but the owner must be going cash. Smart these days.

or maybe just the lincolns and Kia's :/

I've met the owner... he must started/bought that dealership in his late 40's.

Default Man, guess that keying incident really did them in...

Rusty there always did me good when I needed a dealer.

Default I would bet the owner did them in... he didn't want to spend the $$ to update the dealership to Audi

standards, and he screwed over his employees....

He might have done the 'right business' decision to sale and get out, but how he went about it says alot about the man, and what he cared about.

I bet the keying was a response to all of the above.

Default No way....I wouldn't doubt that that Keying incident was insurance fraud.

They cashed the check, didn't fix any cars and ironically enough, it happens while they are in financial turmoil?

Similar to a homeowner burning his down before it going into foreclosure in my opinion. That and they didn't have any security, cameras, and all the cars on the lot were damamged and nobody saw "anything"? Suspect in my opinion.
