Default fingers crossed.....

(Fingers crossed) Looks like I may be clear without the chains. Looked at the traffic reports and no restrictions have been put up.

Hope it stays that way, if not (fingers crossed) hope I'm lucky with Napa Auto Parts having chains that fit.

(Fingers crossed) Hope I win big my first night there in the casinos!!!!

Anyone else going to be in South Lake Tahoe? Maybe we could get together for dinner or something?

Default Bought my cable chains at a gas station on route 50 on the way to Tahoe -

I think all the gas stations have them. Each set fits a range of tire sizes so you should have no trouble finding them to fit. Mine fit all 15" and 16" sizes for example.

For the cable type chains you need less than half an inch clearance - my A6 has more like a quarter and they just clear.

Look for Cobra Cable Chains - cost me about $30

Default um...not for your 2.7T A6, i hope...

you really shouldn't use chains/cables with quattro.
