Default Thoughts on steering wheel covers

Anyone have any thoughts on steering wheel covers. I use them on the work vehicles. My A4's wheel is very slick and I'm not much of a glove guy.

Default Leather sew ups. Had em on my mkII GTi and loved em.

Takes a while to install, but well worth it, as they feel great and have a nice grip to them.<ul><li><a href="http://www.qualitysmart.com/products/wheelskins/wheelskins_steeringwheel_covers.htm">like these.</a></li></ul>

Default nothing looks as good as oem. if you buy a new wheel and condition it every two weeks ...

it should feel matte and new for years to come. i recommend spinneybeck leather care.

Default for some reason I had the impression

conditioning the wheel made it slicker so I avoided it. The wheel is now five years old. I have been using Lexol on the interior, should I try it on the wheel?

Default that can be true depending on the product that you use. consider that your hands ...

are also applying a product (your skin's natural oils) whenever you drive. those oils need to be removed on a regular basis to keep the matte finish. at this point, it's too late to restore the matte finish to your existing wheel; you either need to cover it or buy a new wheel. personally i'm not a big fan of spending money on partial solutions, hence my recommendation for a new wheel; genuinevwaudiparts.com has good prices.

Default

alcantara seems to age even more poorly than leather.
