When purchasing a new Audi I declined the dealer offer of front and rear bumper scotchguard film application. They charge $1290, and based on what a friend paid for the film (he self-installed) we felt we could find a better deal.

So....has anyone in the NYC area had this sort of protection applied and if so, where? Looking for a reputable shop.

Mama, wrapping an entire bumper is not a DIY task.

Better detail shops will offer the service or be able to provide a reference.

I don't know about the NYC area but if you are willing to venture into LI; there is Phenomenal Vinyl in Oceanside and, Mr. Sparkle Detailing in West Babylon. They use Xpel

Xpel Ultimate film is terrific and will prevent rock chips and such but wont eliminate bumper rashing or damage resulting from contact with another vehicle in NYC or anywhere else - no film can do that.
