Default How can I thaw a frozen PVC pipe quickly? My sump line to the outside froze up at the end....

hence backing up the sump, motor died, bla bla bla.

Got a new sump, got some heat tape, but have to thaw the end of the pipe out which the heat tape is not doing. Any suggestions?

The one time in my life I wish I had a squirt gun to fire hot water down the pipe to loosen it up.

Default all exposed except for the 6 inches inside the wall going to the outside...

i'm guessing the blockage is in that area.

Default I might try that next, and a hair dryer for the outside so it gets heat from both sides

Default I'd just aim a space heater at it, heat up the foundation wall, pipe, everything

don't catch your house on fire... but if you do, take pics for us.

I'd even drag another space heater outside and duck tape a plastic tent around it.

sounds like a fun project. happy holidays.

Default yeah, don't live at this property, so no go on that, maybe the pressure of the new injector pump...
