I feel stupid for not knowing, but is it just Masters of Science degree just like B.S. for Bachelors degree? If so, that pretentious....

Default no I don't, but I don't think I've ever seen people actually use that in professional titles...

I can see Phd, MD, DDS, etc, but I think for a Masters is a little much. Maybe I'm just a hater....would like to get Masters some day though.

Default Its less common in the U.S. I regularly see people writing MSc in the UK.

Then again, they even write BSc after their names which makes me laugh.

Quite frankly, you're calling it pretentious because you don't have one yourself. I hate to say it but that's pretty sad even for awot.

Default Yes, it means they are a pretentious arseloch

It is acceptable to put "Dr." or "Ph. D." on your business card if they have completed a doctorate program, but an M.S. degree should not be placed on a business card.

Example: my GF can put Ph. D. on hers, but I can't (and won't) put M.S. on mine.
