No need for concern here - they were more of an impulse buy. Once I had them mounted, didn't like them on the car so much - here's a pic. Purchased another pair. They're taking up space on the garage - spouse is complaining... blah, blah, blah...
I've owned several replicas for past VW's cars and SUVs. Even the replacements on my car now are replicas. Never had issues of concern.

You're right, they do not look that flattering on your car but this could be partly do to the tire size.
The white RS7 is lowered, has 21", crazy low profile tire, and retouched to look awesome.
Almost not a fair comparison.
