Movit Big Brake Kit (BBK) for sale, direct fir for Audi A8 D3 and D2 (and others, including Audi A6 C5 and C6, early R8, RS4 B7, RS6 C5, S6 C6, some TTs, and a slew of other brands (incl lots of BMW and Mercedes applications )).
• Movit front 6 piston BBK for sale.
• Diameter is 396 mm and thickness new was 36 mm.
• Excellent condition, bought in October ’11. Today 35.1 mm remaining on both discs (see micrometer picture, measured at middle of disc).Min thickness is 34, so plenty of life left.
• Installed on an Audi A8 D3 W12, used for about 30k miles, highway driving – NO TRACK USE EVER.
• EBC red pads, about 50% left.
• Direct fit for Audi D2 and D3 applications.
• Fits many other cars if you swap the brackets (see application list on Movit webpage: Applications for this kit, all applications listed in the “396x36 K6” column applies to this kit).
• No cracks around any of the drilled holes.
• Standard (not stainless) brake lines attached.
• On D3 requires at least 19” wheels, 20” clears easily, 18” do not.
• Incredible, consistent stopping power. Removed due to wheel clearance for snow tires.
• Prefer local pickup.
• Cost new was $6,000, selling for $2,500, plus shipping.
